Powerlifting Level 1

Description

Attending this Powerlifting Level 1 course will give you a system for progressing novice or advanced lifters through proper progressions while also developing a deep understanding of effective instruction, cueing and feedback.

Our two-day course is designed to up-skill coaches in the areas of coaching, technical movement, and programming for powerlifting. You will be systematically introduced to the powerlifting movements (squat variations, bench, deadlift variations). The LIVE 2-day experience also introduces fundamentals that are required to build basic powerlifting training programmes and/or incorporate powerlifting into traditional programming.

Utilize and implement the Eleiko Training Ecosystem specifically designed to enhance your overall competency as a coach or athlete. Comprised of the proprietary Performance, Coaching, and Programming Systems, The Eleiko Training Ecosystem will guide you to effectively:


  • spot, adjust, and correct movement variables that hinder lifter performance;
  • systematically coach proper lifting techniques;
  • help you to confidently manipulate the acute variables of programme design so you can develop (long or short-term) training programmes that properly utilize and integrate powerlifting.
