Hip Adduction w/ Internal Rotation

Description

To Perform this PIC for Left Hip Adduction w/ Internal Rotation:

  1. Move the hip into its end range position.
  2. RESITIVE technique:  Internally rotation left foot/knee and place left-foot toes against right foot and perform the following PICs:
    • Push left heel into right foot with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
    • Push left heel into the floor with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
    • Push left heel into right foot and the floor with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
  3. Perform the opposite for Right Hip adduction w/ internal rotation.
