To Perform Hip Adduction w/ Internal Rotation:
- Move the hip into its end range position.
- PIC technique: Internally rotation leg and place toes against opposite foot and perform the following PIC:
- Keeping thigh internally rotated, push toes of the adducted leg into opposite foot and heel downward into the floor with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets.
- Rest approximately 3-5 seconds between reps.
- Reset the foot into internal rotation as far as it can go after each rep.
