To Perform this PIC for Left Hip Adduction w/ Internal Rotation:
- Move the hip into its end range position.
- RESITIVE technique: Internally rotation left foot/knee and place left-foot toes against right foot and perform the following PICs:
- Push left heel into right foot with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
- Push left heel into the floor with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
- Push left heel into right foot and the floor with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
- Perform the opposite for Right Hip adduction w/ internal rotation.
