Hip Abduction w/ Internal Rotation

Description

To Perform this PIC for Left Hip Abduction w/ Internal Rotation:

  1. Move the hip into its end range position.
  2. RESITIVE technique:  Abduct left thigh and internally rotate left foot/knee. Then perform the following PIC:
    • Press left heel down into the floor and outward into your laft hand with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
    • Reset the foot into internal rotation as far as it can go after each rep.
  3. Perform the opposite for Right Hip abduction w/ internal rotation.
