Hip Internal Rotation

Description

To Perform this PIC for Left Hip Internal Rotation:

  1. Move the hip into its end range position.
  2. PIC technique:  Move leg into internal rotation. Place left hand on outer-lower leg and press leg into left hand with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
    • Reset the leg into internal rotation as far as it can go after each rep.
  3. Perform the opposite for Right Hip internal rotation.
