Hip External Rotation

Description

To Perform this PIC for Left Hip External Rotation:

  1. Move the hip into its end range position.
  2. ASSISTIVE technique: place left hand on outer-lower leg with only enough support to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
  3. RESITIVE technique:   place right hand on inner-lower leg with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
  4. Perform the opposite for Right Hip external rotation.
