Hip Flexion w/ Straight Leg

To Perform this PIC for Right Hip Flexion w/ Straight Leg

  1. Move the leg into its end range position.
  2. PIC technique: Move leg into hip flexion. Place right hand on top of thigh and press leg into right hand with only enough pressure to perform the hip flexion isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
    • Reset the leg into hip flexion as far as it can go after each rep.
  3. Perform the opposite for Left Hip flexion w/ straight leg.
