To Perform Hip Extension Prone - Bent Knee:
- Move the hip/knee into its end range position.
- PIC technique: Place finger tips on back of thigh. Press thigh up into finger-tips with only enough pressure to perform the hip extension isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets.
- Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
- Reset the hip into extension as far as it can go after each rep.
