To Perform this PIC for Left Shoulder Horizontal Adduction:
- Move the shoulder into its end range position.
- PIC technique: Place right hand against left arm/wrist. Pres left arm/wrist against right hand with only enough pressure to perform the horizontal adduction isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
- Reset the arm into horizontal adduction w/ internal rotation as far as it can go after each rep.
- Perform the opposite for Right Shoulder horizontal adduction.
