Shoulder Flexion

Description

To Perform Shoulder Flexion:

  1. Move the shoulder into its end range position.
  2. PIC technique:  in supine position, place opposite hand against back of arm in flexion. Press arm in flexion against hands to perform the flexion isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. 
    • Rest approximately 53- seconds between reps.
    • Reset the shoulder into flexion as far as it can go after each rep.
    • This PIC can be done standing with back to wall. Press the hand into the wall with the same acute variables.
