To Perform this PIC for Left Shoulder Flexion:
- Move the shoulder into its end range position.
- PIC technique: in PRONE position, hold left arm in flexion and perform the flexion isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
- Reset the shoulder into flexion as far as it can go after each rep.
- This PIC can be done standing with back to wall, if its too difficult in the lying prone position. Press the left hand into the wall with the same acute variables.
- Perform the opposite for Right Shoulder flexion.
