Shoulder Extension

Description

To Perform this PIC for Left Shoulder Extension:

  1. Move the shoulder into its end range position.
  2. PIC technique:   Hold or use a weight (DB) for aded resistance and perform the extension isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
    • Reset the shoulder into extension as far as it can go after each rep.
    • This PIC can be done standing with back to wall, if its too difficult in the lying prone position. Press the left hand into the wall with the same acute variables.
  3. Perform the opposite for Right Shoulder extension.
