Shoulder Extension-Adduction-Internal Rotation

Description

To Perform this PIC for Left Shoulder Extension-Adduction-Internal Rotation:

  1. Move the shoulder into its end range position.
  2. ASSISTIVE technique: hold or use an object to support the left arm in extension/add/IR and perform the ext-add-IR isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
  3. RESITIVE technique:   hold or use an added resistance and perform the ext-add-IR isometric contraction at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
  4. Perform the opposite for Right Shoulder extension-adduction-internal rotation.
