Ankle Dorsiflexion

Description

To Perform this PIC for Right Ankle Dorsiflexion:

  1. Move the right ankle into its end range position.
  2. PIC technique:   Place left foot on top of right foot and press right foot up into left foot with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction of dorsiflexion at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
    • Reset the ankle into dorsiflexion as far as it can go after each rep.
  3. Perform the opposite for Left Ankle dorsiflexion.
