To Perform this PIC for Right Ankle Plantarflexion:
- Move the right ankle into its end range position.
- PIC technique: Place right foot on top of left foot. Press right foot down into left foot with only enough pressure to perform the isometric contraction of plantarflexion at 10-20% for 3-6 sec x 3-6 sets. Rest approximately 5 seconds between reps.
- Reset the ankle into plantar flexion as far as it can go after each rep.
- Perform the opposite for Right Ankle plantarflexion.
