Mobility: Dynamic (Bodyweight)

Mobility is more than just how much motion someone has. Rather, it is quality and purpose of motion, and the readiness or ability to act “on-demand”. Readiness for motion means the neural and myofascial tissues are able to produce contractions without delay through the full range of motion in a joint. When precise timing and connection between the nervous and myofascial systems exists, joints have proper stability. Stability is what allows joints to move freely and easily, or what we call “smooth”. Therefore, in the simplest terms, mobility can be defined as MOtion with staBILITY.
